Fighting Multiple Sclerosis

A time to come together

First, WOW, it has been a long time since I blogged.

Today I would like to talk about that feeling that you get when you hit hard times, but b/c of Multiple Sclerosis I can't go out and get a job to help. This makes me feel horrible, like I'm a burden! As most of you already know I am a disabled (multiple sclerosis) stay at home mommy. I am so blessed to have a son who is carrying and compassionate and a husband who works his tail end off to provide for us and then comes home and helps me with everything from helping with supper to getting down on his hands and knees to scrub the tub and y'all know that is like getting a present.

But here is what is going on. Our family hit on some hard times and it seems no matter how much we work to get back on track we just keep falling short. We have sold everything we had of value, but are still behind on rent, electric and now our car insurance. Our local family services were generous enough to help us out with food and some basic items like shampoo and toothpaste.

So now I am going to try something new by stepping out of my comfort zone and ask for help. We have sat up a Go Fund Me page. Everything donated will go towards the past due electric bill, our past due rent, food on the table for not only us, but our 4 legged family member who is my service dog along with other basic needs and our car insurance so my husband can make it back and forth to work.

Thank you so much and if you could please share our story we will be forever grateful. Just click on the link on the top right of my blog page or below.
